What is Enline?
Enline is a grid software company headquartered in Mirandela, Portugal behind GridSight®. A modular digital twin platform for transmission and distribution grids. GridSight® is physics-based, and AI-based: it models thermal, electrical and mechanical behavior using hyper-local weather data, satellite and drone imagery, SCADA readings, and asset records utilities already have. AI adds forecasting and insights on top.
What is Enline's value proposition to utilities and power grid operators?
Flexibility without vendor lock-in. Start with one of GridSight®´s module and expand as priorities change - no system redesign needed. Every module runs on the same data pipeline, so results feed into each other automatically in one single "source of truth" platform. Each deployment is single-tenant - a dedicated, isolated instance with full control over where your data lives - integrating with your existing SCADA, GIS, and protection-relay records instead of replacing them.
What problem does Enline's technology solve?
Aging grids, rising renewable integration, and limited visibility into line conditions. The traditional fix - installing sensors along every span - is slow, limited and expensive. Enline closes this gap with a software-only digital twin that turns data utilities already have - weather feeds, substation readings, existing sensors - into intelligence they can act on. No new hardware is required.
What industries and sectors can benefit from Enline's solutions?
TSOs, DSOs, power generation companies (including renewables), and electro-intensive industries like mining and heavy manufacturing that run private grids or transmission lines. If your operations depend on high-voltage infrastructure, GridSight likely has an intelligence application for it.
