What you’ll do.

  • Lead technical conversations with prospective clients, including senior and C-level decision-makers on both the technical side (CTOs, heads of operations, heads of engineering) and the business side (CEOs, CFOs, asset and investment managers).
  • Make sure we fully understand each customer’s problem (grid constraints, curtailment, congestion, dynamic ratings, renewable optimisation) and translate it into a clear solution scope and value proposition using Enline’s product modules.
  • Build the business case for our solutions, connecting technical outcomes, such as additional capacity, reduced losses and avoided curtailment, to their operational and financial impact.
  • Work closely with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, owning technical conversations and helping move opportunities to a purchase decision.
  • Deliver presentations and coordinate with Product and Engineering on demos and simulations that demonstrate the platform’s value.
  • Support proposals and grant or tender applications, ensuring technical accuracy and a compelling value narrative.
  • Run internal demos and training sessions so that the sales team and other colleagues can present Enline’s solutions with confidence.
  • Represent Enline at industry events, conferences and webinars, giving presentations and building a network that supports lead generation.

What we’re looking for.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant quantitative field.
  • At least 3 years in a client-facing technical role (e.g. technical sales, pre-sales, solutions engineering or consulting) in energy, utilities, grid operations, renewables or power systems software.
  • Proven experience presenting to and building relationships with senior decision-makers, including C-level, on both technical and business topics.
  • Track record of contributing to B2B deals, from scoping through to purchase decision.
  • Solid understanding of power flows, SCADA systems, power generation, transmission constraints and grid planning.
  • Ability to adapt your message to different audiences, from engineers to finance and executive teams, and to discuss value in operational and financial terms.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent English, written and spoken, is mandatory. Portuguese or Spanish is a plus.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis.

Nice to have.

  • Portuguese and/or Spanish, or other European languages.
  • Familiarity with system operator workflows (TSOs/DSOs) or plant operators (wind, solar, BESS).
  • Experience with Digital Twin platforms or simulation-based software.
  • Knowledge of grid planning or operational tools such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, or similar.
  • Experience selling technical solutions to utilities or IPPs, including long sales cycles and public tenders.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, especially time series forecasting, optimisation or anomaly detection.
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support your work.
