What you’ll do.

  • Ensure the electrical engineering soundness of Enline’s products, validating models, assumptions and results against power systems principles and real operating conditions.
  • Develop grid studies and simulations, including power flow, contingency analysis and system analysis, for transmission and distribution networks and for renewable assets.
  • Bring a reliability and resilience perspective to product development, helping our solutions address grid security, constraints and operational risk.
  • Translate industry requirements, grid codes and regulatory frameworks into technical requirements for our products.
  • Work with data, alongside the team’s data science skills, to analyse operational data, build data-driven models and improve the accuracy of our digital twins.
  • Automate recurring studies, analyses and workflows, making the team’s work faster and more reliable.
  • Collaborate with the Product, Engineering and Technical Sales teams, supporting client projects, pilots and technical discussions whenever power systems expertise is needed.

What we’re looking for.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, with solid experience in power systems.
  • Hands-on experience in power systems studies and simulations.
  • Solid knowledge of power flow, system analysis and reliability and resilience concepts.
  • Familiarity with the electricity sector and its regulation.
  • Openness to using data and automation in day-to-day work.
  • Proactive and autonomous, comfortable owning problems from start to finish in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluent technical English.

Nice to have.

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems or a related field.
  • Experience or knowledge in data science, such as data analysis, time series, forecasting or machine learning applied to energy systems.
  • Programming skills, ideally in Python.
  • Experience with power systems tools such as PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, OpenDSS, pandapower or similar.
  • Experience with transmission or distribution system operators, renewable plants (wind, solar, BESS) or grid planning.
  • Familiarity with digital twin platforms or simulation software.
